About Me
I am a Journalism major with an emphasis in Online Journalism and a Professional Writing minor. I received my Associates of Arts Degree at University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College. I am currently enrolled at University of Central Arkansas in Conway where I participate weekly on the Echo Newspaper Staff. I have always enjoyed writing and consider my rhetoric and writing skills to always have room to improve.

I plan to graduate by Fall of 2022, with a Bachelors in Journalism by the College of Communication at UCA. After graduation I hope to improve the quality of news and reduce biases and racism through the field of journalism.

Do you have any recommendation on how to tackle racism in technical writing?
Allies for Black Lives are needed in the current field of education. Technical and Professional Writing seeks realignment of racist tendencies and social injustices that have been in place through decades of neutrality. Racism is deeply rooted in many technical and professional writing courses, specifically business writing in this letter.
You can do this by rejecting myths of neutrality and objectivity in technical and professional writing. You must identify your writing tasks within technical writing as opportunities to embolden those who are not be able to speak and to intervene for justice.
